False Bottom for Blichmann BoilerMaker - 10 gallons (G1 & G2)

These false bottoms were specifically designed to be used with the BoilerMaker brew pot when used as a mash tun. The unique button louver design gives you both a highly efficient and clog resistant false bottom that is one of the best on the market.

Note: These false bottoms are intended to be used as a mash filter only. Not recommended to be used as a boil screen for hops, as the false bottom will impede the convective flow of a rolling boil, and may lead to scorching of the wort. Additionally for the same reason, when doing step mashes (heating the wort with the false bottom in place), you need to make sure and circulate your wort while heating. Because the false bottom impedes the convective flow of heat, not circulating can result in scorching of the wort and/or grain.

HopRocket, Blichmann Engineering

The HopRocket is truly an innovative, one of a kind, hop infusing tool that is packed with awesome features. First, it can be used as a hop back on brew day, which helps keep volatile hop aroma compounds in solution after the boil. It also doubles as an in-line hop infuser (aka Randalizer) for your beer dispensing system by adding fresh hop aroma as you poor your finished home brew. Oh and one more thing, it triples as in-line filter. (If using as a filter, a pre-filter should be used in the brew pot as excessive material entering the hop rocket can cause it to plug.) Intended for use with whole hops only!

Stainless Steel BIAB False Bottom Stand Screen

First is a false bottom specifically designed for Brew In A Bag process. When you use a mesh bag in a pot, whether it's directly fired on a burner or heated electrically, you want to keep the bag off the bottom. Typical homebrew false bottoms have really small holes and cut off the free flow that mesh bags are know for. Another less desirable choice is a steamer rack or tray that is found in kitchen shops, but none of those are stainless steel.

Our units start with 1.25mm 304SS welded wire mesh on 1/2" centers. The mesh is supported by a double outer ring, both on top and bottom of the mesh and a pair of cross braces across the middle. This support material is nearly 1/4" in diameter an very sturdy. The legs are made of M8 metric bolts and are threaded into five nuts that are welded to the mesh. This modular leg style allows for just about any height you need just by changing out the length of the bolts.
